McGregor`s Blink Bonnie Supper Club in Saint Germain

Where do I even begin with the Blink Bonnie? Every time we are in Eagle River this is a must stop restaurant. The steaks are excellent and come out sizzling hot. We were there with a group of 9 on Thursday - they said they did not have any tables for 9 but accommodated us with 2 tables next to each other. Aside from the fantastic food you will find a great old fashioned and drink! If you look in the dictionary under "bartender" you will see their bartender Chuck's picture. Not sure why people cry about the wait - it's worth the wait! See you next year when we return for our annual trip. Nice!

Best steaks hands down! No reservations accepted, so prepare to wait your turn. They have excellent muddled Old Fashioned drinks as well.

Listen, if you’re in the north woods, you HAVE to go to Bonnie’s. Plan for it to be your evening, and go early. Very small dining room but you’ll have a blast waiting at the bar meeting new people. Great steaks! Awesome waitstaff. A true north woods experience that I would highly recommend.

Very nice, well furnished place. Hostess was friendly and our waiter was attentive to our needs. The meat was cooked perfectly to our requests and the drinks were on par. Will definitely return.

The filet is absolutely second to none- including very well known steak houses! Quaint Northwoods Lodge decor. Only 11 tables so arrive very early or very late as they do not accept reservations- otherwise your wait could be lengthy.

A must stop for us when we head up to minocqua. Great food and service. Be prepared for a wait but it's worth it!

BEWARE! they do not season their steaks before cooking, so if you're a person who likes them seasoned, ask them to do so.The ribeye I had was huge, flavorful, and not a ton of gristle. Was cooked perfectly to my liking. Their steaks are fresh never frozen, and it shows up in the flavor. It stands with the best in Chicago, imo.House made garlic ranch and bleu cheese salad dressing was amazing.Hash brown side I had was uneventful, I would get baked next time.Whiskey Old fashioned was good, waitress beyond friendly, almost chatty.Overall experience was great.

Long wait, kitchen couldn't keep up with the tables. Arrived at 5, expecting a wait... We were seated at 7: 30 and didn't get our food until after 9. No reason to spend 4 and a half hours to go out to eat. Plenty of other options in the North woods. Won't be back. Imo, they are living off of their reputation.

Stopped in to see the layout ,it's very comfy , small but not crowded . I was seated in a timely manner and the service is outstanding . Food was delicious and the prices were reasonable . I'll be back when in the area .

1st time at this restaurant. Have heard so much about it coming up here over the years. Got there at 5pm hour wait as to be expected. The regulars know exactly how to do it. Brandy ole fashion’s any way you like it. Go outside grab a picnic table or set up a lawn chairs outside your vehicle and wait to be seated . We happened to have some board games in the back of the truck so we broke those out and passed some time waiting for the table. Food is honestly fantastic. Steaks cooked to Perfection. Also had the lobster tail just wonderful. Btw have 2 young kids and they made it through the wait. Would suggest this old school super club/steakhouse to anyone that comes this way on vacation. 5 stars all day. Will be back!!

Quintessential Northern Wisconsin Supper Club. Great, friendly staff. Tongue and groove pine paneling sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. Excellent steaks!

Awesome service and the food is incredible. The filet just melts in your mouth. Really great food. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed

This place is UH.MAZE.ING. Warning: you will more than likely have to wait a long time -- this place is teeny-tiny -- and it is kinda pricey -- BUT the food is phenom. Their steaks are SO GOOD! I always get mushrooms on mine -- but be warned they are like $4 -- It comes with salad and a a potato -- and they have THE BEST amaretto sours i have every had -- YOU SHOULD GO HERE!

Steak was perfect , lobster was a bonus ! Salad out of this world. Service great, worth the wait !

People Rave about this place. Steak is "ok". Overpriced. Outside is not kept nice. Kind of "sloppy", out -of-breath, servers. The bar service is good. I wouldnt consider it welcoming. Everyone seemed too busy to be cordial. Very crowded. Huge cathedral ceilings with lots of decor so at least you have things to look at and a nice drink for your 40 minute wait.
